Our client, an international prestigious company, is now offering a job opportunity for a Monitoring Engineer.

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring and administration of customers systems and applications
- Problem solving and implementation of customers change requests
- Creatiing of technical documentation
- Development of new product functionalities and updates of an existing products
- Configuration of HW and SW
- Implementation of technical changes to the global infrastructure, updates of OS
- Update of customer installations

Požadavky

- University degree
- Technical knowledge of SUN and PC hardware (network cards, BUS technologies, RAID, etc)
- Operating systems (Windows 2003, 7 and Windows Server 2008, SUN Solaris, Linux Red Hat, ...)
- Practical experience with Shell programming (on Windows and SUN)
- System management tools
- Script languages (Perl and WSH)
- Analytical skills


- Knowledge of Xetra/Eurex applications will be an advantage
- Knowledge of network architecture, protocols and technologies as firewalls, etc
- Programming in Visual Basic, C, C++
- Very good English communication
- German language is an advantage
- Willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, occasionally on public holidays
- Willingness to travel within Europe
