Main tasks:
• Optimize use of Human Resources technology throughout the region
• Develop and maintain close working partnerships with Regional and SBG Human Resources leadership, Regional HRS leadership, Payroll leaders
• Provide regional technology support to ensure the success of all Corporate HR technology initiatives
• Manage the operational activities of the department including recruitment, budgeting, resource planning, staff compensation and development
• Leverage global support model to drive down costs and ensure effective and efficient delivery of payroll technology solutions and support.
• Advise and participate with HR and IT leadership in technology selection and application
• Provide ongoing regional system operation, maintenance, and technical support
• Ensure all projects delivered in the region comply with EU legislation and regulations
• Maintain Global Payroll application roadmap in conjunction with HR/HRS and
• Comply with and utilize process improvement techniques such as six sigma tools and SEI-CMM policies and processes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology
• 10 year experience with HR Technology development, maintenance, operation, and support; PeopleSoft and SAP experience preferred
• At least 3 years experience of operating and managing in a Global organization required
• Fluent English, knowledge of another European language is an advantage
• A thorough understanding of Human Resources key processes
• Proven experience in Customer service delivery in a matrix international; organization (>4 years)
• Experience in leveraging Emerging Market resources
• Strong project management background; SEI/CMM Level 3 or higher certification preferred
• Combination of business, technical and leadership skills, understand customers' business needs, processes and functions, knowledgeable in IT infrastructure, architecture, applications development and support, networks and computer operations.
• Solid experience in setting and managing an Annual Operating Budget
• Understanding of applications architectures (tiered environment, basic firewall rules, …) as well as infrastructure management
• Good presentation skills
