- Manages accounts from the pharmaceutical industry
- Develops a tactical and strategic nderstanding of the client’s business issues, and develops a compelling solution using appropriate IMS products and services
- Coordinates business development and service activity with the Account Director, Sales, Consulting and Service Specialists to validate opportunities to achieve account plan, revenue and client satisfaction targets
- Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win back opportunities
- Represents the company to the client and the client to the company in all service and sales related activity
- Builds client relationships across the client organization, from Business Insiders to Senior Executives
- Resolves 1st line service issues, and coordinates 2nd line support issues with the service teams
- Ensures through service reviews and transaction surveys that service agreements, contract specifications, and product deliverables meet clients’ specifications, including timeliness and quality
- University degree or equivalent and a minimum of five (3) years relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience (preferred)
- Proactive - Drive business results
- Analytical skill set – problem solving & analysis – attention to detail
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning + change management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven client relationship management
- Business acumen, selling fundamentals, negotiation
- Effective communication and presentation skills to train/present and deal with clients
- Team work and collaboration
- Strong system skills, word, excel, PowerPoint
- Management of accounts from the pharmaceutical industry prefered
- Fluent English
- Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude
- Good team player
- Commitment, motivation and the desire to succeed
- Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
