The Revenue Manager would develop, implement, monitor, and control the Reservations Office systems and procedures to ensure maximization of revenues on both a short and long term basis. Reports to GM.

DAILY TASKS:

* Monitor and control the hotel's inventory on a daily basis by setting restrictions on number of rooms that can be sold in each market segment
* Communicate proper selling strategies and overbooking possibilities on a daily basis to the Reservations Office, Front Office and Sales Office
* Complete forecasts
* Booking curve and history spreadsheets
* Attend daily operations meeting with reservations update and competitor information.
* Monitor our competitors through voice shops and reports
* Historical data analysis
* Maintain rates and availability
* Continual training of all procedures with regards to the proper manner to sell the hotel in order to achieve the best revenue per available room (balancing average rate and occupancy)
* Ensure we are up to date with all GDS marketing and yield capabilities
